They did send these vans and the related Anglia to US at end of 1940s - book comments that 10,250 combined cars and vans were sent in 1948, and that the saloon at least had a unique 3 upright panel front grille (instead of the usual 2 panels) and the 1172cc Prefect engine. |

The saloon grille looked like a 1937 7W Ten. Shown below is a 1948 North American model 10 hp Anglia. If the subject vehicle had an 1172cc engine, the chassis type should read E03C-F/A, or presumably E493C-F/A.
