Surprised that a Mad Max film would chop up and then destroy a classic car, with a bunch of theories about this Olds in particular claiming that it had been painstakingly restored over 17 years and then bought by the production in order to only appear for a couple minutes on screen and then get blown up. Even if that were true, it's not like this was the only '59 Oldsmobile left in existence. People need to keep in mind that not every classic car is a museum piece - Most of them are junkers, rust buckets and abandoned projects that would otherwise be left to rot.
