1967 m.y. I think it's a 1500, but I'm not sure whether the 1300 had a 1300 badge on the engine cover as the 1966 model did. |

it had 'VW-1300' badge, however everything else fits with 1967 1200 A. ![]() |

VW1300 was the 1967 badge, 1966 said just 1300 It's a 1967, as stated by @chris40, in the shape of 1300A as the Sparkäfer this year, while updated to 1967 it still kept the cheaper details. Market demands when the Sparkäfer was removed for MY1965 caused the former 1200A to be introduced late MY1965 and kept for MY1966 Updated |

Could this Limuzyna 'Garbus' be Polish version or they just called them as is? |

Typ 1 was (semi)officially sold in Poland (here you've 1965 Polish full-line VW brochure) but we hadn't special versions. 'Limuzyna' was body's formal name, 'Garbus' was/is the nickname. Many cars were privately imported to Poland from Western Europe. Used or new. -- Last edit: 2021-03-10 20:32:11 |
