According to https://www.allpar.com/d3/squads/spacevan.html the British Chrysler was bailed out in January 1976 and in August 1976 the name Dodge replaced both Commer and Fargo. The new look SpaceVan, with a plastic grille, was introduced in October 1977, which therefore has to be a Dodge. ^Correct it is, as confirmed by the proper door handles. These replaced the Commer Cob's pushbuttons with finger pull, that were used on all the previous versions including the 1977-78 Dodge Spacevan. |
