Coastguard LRs all fairly standard hardtops like one in front .So dress up. Coastguard had big fleet of S111 88in window hardtops with catflap rear door and a front capstan winch . When the coil spring Land Rovers were introduced they seemed to get a new buying policy in which foreign vehicles could be bought. I was quite shocked around 1984 to see our local coastguard with a new Daihatsu Fourtrack. This was the first government vehicle I had seen which was not British. How times change!
