Not difficult, but very interesting! ![]() It is a Land-Rover 109" Series III Carawagon Series 80. The Carawagon conversions by Searle were available for the three-door 109" for the civilian (Series 80) and military (Tactical Command Post) market as well as a mobile clinic, and based on the 109" Station Wagon known as 'Continental'. There was also a version for the Range Rover ('Series 100' camper and 'Geological Survey Station' mobile office). The 'Safari' and 'Mobile Education Unit' based on the 88" did not have the pop-up roof. This one is additionally interesting as it seems to have been converted into a mobile canteen. |
