I think this is a Delta 88. The the back seat pattern and the folding seats match, but I can't find matching headrests. Delta have the horizontal vents (LeSabres have trapezoid shaped vents). The dash doesn't quite fully match, but most of it is blocked. Caprice has similar vents and door panels, but the seat pattern and seat backs are different (missing the chrome side pieces). Grand Ville seems to have square vents and diagonal quilt pattern seats. Here's a 1975: Link to "www.stlouiscarmuseum.com" 1974: https://www.customclassics.net/vehicles/222/1974-oldsmobile-delta-88 The 1973 have more squarish vents. -- Last edit: 2023-07-16 02:41:45 |

Dashboard doesn't match those. This car has a big thick bezel separating the instrument panel from the passenger side of the dash. Buick is a better match: (1972 Centurion pictured) Chevrolet has similar vents on passenger side but does not have the knob to the left of the steering wheel. I think 1973 Buick Centurion is the best match: https://barnfinds.com/one-owner-1973-buick-centurion-convertible/ - Full wood instrument panel, no black square around the silver knob; in 1974 the passenger side vents were vertically oriented. |

That does match better. I started at 1975 but didn't work back far enough with Buick. Headrest match better too. |

I said Buick because of the outside rear-view mirror. That was back in the day when each division had distinctive mirrors. -- Last edit: 2023-07-17 01:59:59 |
