This is the same Challenger used in the Mod Squad season 2, it first appeared in the first episode of "The Immortal" in 1969 with Christopher George. Was also used in one scene in the 1970 horror movie, Crowhaven Farm and an episode of Adam 12 in 1971. Very unique car, it's an early production '70 383 Challenger R/T built as a PR car with a/c, clear glass, a column shifter, a front split bench seat with the bucket seat-type backs, Rally gauges, and it even has power windows! The car is still alive today in SoCal and looks pretty darned nice. |
