Running on a legit looking UK plate. But it's LHD. Plate looked like G40 SCD - could the G be for Gibraltar? |

Gib plates until 2001 were G 12345 reaching to 99989, then became G 1234A. I don't have newer info, but G40 SCD doesn't seen to fit. If a normal UK plate G40 SCD was Brighton Oct 89 to June 90, G40 SCO never issued in period. -- Last edit: 2023-11-09 21:59:06 |

I had another look at a higher quality source and it does indeed look like G40 xxx. The general shape does give off some Continental R vibes, but it's probably rather a Brooklands. -- Last edit: 2023-11-09 20:54:57 |

Just saying, but some screeshots might be more useful than a witness testimony. If we take an 89/90 G plate at face value it can be an Eight, Mulsanne S or Turbo R. Chrome edged mesh grille was the one on the Eight, though this car seems somewhat tampered with. |
