Notchback weren't sold in the US, just Square and Fast. They did sell them in Canada, and some were imported grey market. |

This is earlier than 68 with small sidelights - I'd guess a 63/64 or similar so 1500/1500S in European terms, but VW-ists can probably pin it down better. IF US didn't get Type 31s until 66 when they'd become 1600s, this is a weirdo - maybe a grey market from CDN as suggested ^, and Notchback is possible. |
