It looks like an Albaret road roller. I have no further information about these rollers, except that they were made by the Société Anonyme des Anciens Établissements Albaret in Rantigny, Oise, France. The design looks like one of the earlier ones, probably from the 1910s. |

I actually found a picture of an identical engine:![]() This one has the Works-No.1228 and is a single cylinder engine. No year is given, though. Another picture I found shows a younger Type BM with the Works-No.1544, again with no year: ![]() |

Why "Rouleau Compresseur"? It just means "Road Roller" in french. |
