1.8 SX can mean two chassis codes. SA60, with a 1S-U engine, and TA63, with a 3T-EU engine. The difference? The latter had independent rear suspension, the former did not. Both were available from the launch of the A60 Celica in 1981. However, the 3T-EU TA63 did not live to see the mid-career facelift. |
