JJ 3650 was a real registration, the last in the range JJ 3611 to JJ 3650 an 1933 Austin 12/4 High Lot Taxi, so new at the time. The nearest Austin 12/4 taxi is 'JJ 8167' as seen on IMCDb was in a Poirot episode. I had the idea that, if it was filmed in the USA, it could be 'VU 8765' but the windscreen is different. /vehicle_975270-Austin-12-4-Taxi-69691-1932.html So was 'JJ 3650' shipped to the USA? -- Last edit: 2023-01-30 22:37:55 |

This movie company constructed Elstree Studios in 1925, where Hitchcock also filmed.![]() It's unlikely to be an American set. |
