They did say a 1966 Mustang in the scene. But, I used to own a '66 Mustang and I agree with Wampa-One--I think it's a 1965 model. The front grill on this one is definitely typical of the 641/2 and 65 models. Don't know about the gas cap thing. I've seen some gas caps with the black area on 66 models...but maybe when they were restored someone put a different model year cap on them, not realizing it. Really, other than the front grill and the style of the speedometer inside, it's very hard to tell the difference between a 65 and a 66. -- Last edit: 2009-11-05 05:35:59 |
