Having 13" rims, I find it more likely to be a 220 SE than a 250 SE. The visible difference between the 13" and the 14" wheels is that the former has holes in the wheel embelisher, while the latter doesn't. 13" https://www.flickr.com/photos/45676495@N05/23101289870 14" Link to "www.flickr.com" |

Why is this marked as a 250SE? It was originally presented as 220SE in MY 1962, whereas the 250SE was a development introduced in MY 1966. There're very few details that from an outer perspective differ the two models, one is that the earlier versions had 13" rims, as the pictured one indeed has. Other features are the horn ring (from round to slightly D-shaped), inside rear view mirror (from chromed to black), rear exhaust (from single pipe to two pipes) and outside rear view mirror (from 'swan neck' to stright stem). However, none of those features are visible here. This is much more likely a 220SE than a 250SE. |
