As of February 2, 2018 (the earliest we can go back on the MTSBU site) it was still on a Camry however. A September 2007 (2008 MY?) XLE in 'silver metallic'. "Made for Europe" but the Camry was discontinued here in 2004 before making a surprise return in 2019, so probably officially sold in UA. JTNBK40K703033390 |

Edit: I think this might be a late 2007 because the serial number is in the 30,000 and checking the one built in 10/06 is only at 15,000 for the serial number. I could be wrong though if the MY started earlier in 2007 for 2008. More research is needed. Not so often I find [GSV40]. Rather odd code as I haven't seen one before that I can recall. Ah it is a V6 model which I don't think I have pulled any yet. brand: TOYOTA catalog: TOYOTA00 name: CAMRY model: GSV40L-AETGKW description: ACV40,GSV40 date: 09.2007 framecolor: 1F7 trimcolor: LA15 prodPeriod: 01.2006 - 08.2011 options: ATM,MTM: AUTOMATIC TRANSMISSION; Driver's position: LEFT-HAND DRIVE VEHICLES; Grade: XLE TYPE; Gear shift type: ATM, 6-SPEED FLOOR SHIFT; Engine: (2GRFE) 3500CC 24-VALVE DOHC EFI -- Last edit: 2022-09-07 18:11:20 |

Do you mean 3033390 or 033390? Because if the latter, I would have said an early 2008. |

I think my eyes deceived me. The last 6 should always be the serial number if my understanding of VINs is accurate. 10th is sometimes used as the MY but countries that don't follow this might use a 0 for the 10th digit. The 11th digit is normally the plant of assembly. I would say then yes a 2008. |

JDM VINs are tricky for us to understand - but IIRC they use the same sequence for the model run (here 1/06 to 12/08, or to 8/11 depending on your decoder source) and converting into model years is not always possible BTW, position 11 is a version number, not a plant identifier, where 2 goes to a Lexus, 3 to the Camry, then they refer to newer models |
