Atkinson L1586 16 tonner very likely as British Road Services had a few and although there is no BRS crest on the door it looks like it could have been one of theirs. |

I think that the board on the cab roof in front of the sheet storage says “British Road Services” but its a bit fuzzy. |

That's a BRS fleet number on the front wing, and the lorry has the 'Bow Front' cab. It will almost certainly be an L1586 (LWB, 15T nominal carrying capacity, 8 wheels, 6 cylinder) likely with a Gardner 6LW but possibly an AEC engine. |
