Not an RS1600 although it is a Mk2 Escort, Ford never made a Mk2 RS1600 the Mk1 RS1600 was replaced by the RS1800 which is a very rare car so this is probably a Escort 1300/1600 Sport or a Mexico, it could be however a lower spec Mk2 with fog lamps fitted giving the appearance of a sportier model. |

There's a batch of Escorts with GLW 44xT and 45xT plates (June 1979, so brand new for film date) with some gaps. Looks like striped Sport as suggested above due to narrow wheels compared to Mexico. |
