HTM reversed 9/62 to 11/62 County of Bedford, Vauxhall works car? Single colour, plain wheels, PB Velox I think. |

I rather belive this is Cresta. That is because the Cresa had fog lights, chromed wheel embellishers and whitewall tyres fitted as standard. They could be ordered as optional extra for the Velox as well, but I'd imagine not many did so. http://vauxpedianet.uk2sitebuilder.com/vauxhall-pb---velox-cresta I considered buying a 1965 Velox for a while and I've spent many evenings at a Vauxhall enthusiast. -- Last edit: 2022-06-08 17:12:15 |

I’ve had three Vauxhalls over the years. 1957 Victor Super, 3908 E 1989 Astra LXi Estate G653FOC 1992 Cavalier LD K942AUX The Victor fell apart with rust. The Astra I wrote off. The Cavalier lasted until 1996, by which time it had done nearly 100k miles, and it became the factory runabout. |

Agree Cresta - it's 2-tone, like this. |

2-tone was optional extra on the Cresta, and not available on the Velox. http://vauxpedianet.uk2sitebuilder.com/vauxhall-pb---velox-cresta , about 1/7 down. |

I believe it's painted in "Limestone White". If having a 2-tone paint, the only alternative was a roof in "Cavern Green" (according to the above site which is very thorough). It would have looked like this Link to "www.telegraph.co.uk" . |

Did a geologist work in Vauxhall's paint department? |
