Definitely Mk.X not 420G, despite 67-68 MAS 302F plate, which is fake "Inverness" combination - close-up shots show the genuine black plate behind the rear screenplate. Has extra boot badging for Oct 64 4.2 upgrade, which received XJ5 code (previous 3.8 was coded Zenith, no XJ code; Jag code sequences are slightly strange at this point as XJ6 was actually XJ4 during development, with XJ6 only applied for its public name when launched; XJ12 was similar invented name as its development code was XJ10).

Odd feature is that this is a bench seat example - partly apparent in a couple of shorts and an early clip where Marler slides over from the passenger seat to park it when Mrs M gets out, and a later clip when his Scouse totty snuggles up to him as he drives - instead of normal separate twin armchairs. Tried to trace when this option arrived - Glass's refer to Oct 65 "Limousine" as the bench seat moment with mentioning a partition; a different source (AROnline) says that in 1965 Jaguar introduced a limousine version of the Mk.X complete with central sound-proof division - only 18 cars built. References to a 420 G Limousine with both bench and partition are easily found. So I think there was a third Mk.X variation with bench but no partition, and may have arrived in Oct 65 alongside the partition version.
