So, what have the thumbs to link them with the main?

Vauxhall Big Six, or Twenty Five, and a Derby Bentley.

And, whatever it is, it is not a “sedan” whatever that means.

Not the car above, but this is an example of the contemporaneous Vauxhall front design.

Why is the Bentley there?

I don't know very good cars of that age. But honestly, I should have paid more attention because it's clear that the cars in the thumbs have two different fronts. In my defense I can say that in the movie it's not much clear that they are different cars...

This one should belong to the one in main pic:

This is for the Bentley, once validated:

The thumb for the Bentley doesn’t really add anything, that is the Vanden Plas semi standard saloon body for the Derby Bentleys, I think, and was fitted to both 3.5 and 4.25 litre chassis.

The Isle of Man is small...

But I have found it impossible to pin down any Derby Bentleys on the island in the late 1990s, and we are only speculating that this thing might be the body on a Vauxhall 25.

The population of the Isle of Man was, at the last census 2020/1, 84069. The Bentley Drivers Club members currently listed as living in IoM do not have a Derby between them.

Coachbuilt but not the usual suspects.

Not unexpected if you think of the comparative costs between, say, a Derby Bentley and the Vauxhall 25 when new. With the Vauxhall costing £500 - £600 and the Bentley £1500 - £2000, there would not be spare money to design new coachwork, or to tailor the factory supplied chassis/scuttle to match the remainder.

Found for sale in the Isle Of Man as here...
