It definitely had 4 doors, so I automatically assumed about a saloon, but I forgot that there was a 4 door hatchback, which was probably more common? |

4-door hatch was the most common, saloon reasonably common, 2-door hatch the rarest. With an M plate like this, there were loads in rental fleets, often 214i or Si. |
