 Melbourne! on the left you can see the Rialto, the tallest buiding at the time (sloped glass roof)

Rialto was the tallest building (in Melb) when it was built, yet, it only held that record for 5 years. In 1991, 101/120 Collins St surpassed it in height.

Interestingly, Eureka Tower was completed in October 2006, in the same exact week this movie was released.

In the HD version, you can actually see the Eureka Tower under construction in the background (on the very right). See below:
