If there is doubt about the age of the truck, then they must have used a more recent photograph to give the impression it was the actual war-surplus truck. |

Assuming that this was from 1947, my first guess would be that it was a heavy-duty KB-Series. However the fender doesn't lead me to believe this is the case, and the cowl insignia looks like it only has a single letter. I'm not sure this is even from the 1940's.
