Dammit, beats me, forgot to research the trim levels first, but indeed Dakar by the sunroof. Surprisingly, my life happens to be that one of my family members used to own one of these before it was sold, it was a white 2017 Dakar 4x2. Rode that beast a few times and did went to Sumatra with that thing too. I miss that car. @dhill_cb7, can we remove the Thailand built tag and change the chassis code to [KR/KS] by your recent mentioning? At that time when this film being filmed and released, that car can be newer by the plate info, which there's no way I can check that registration (registered in Bogor and no back letters). I have explained that in one appearing in Yowis Ben 2 (2019). /vehicle.php?id=1588626#Comment3067004 |

Updating this again with the chassis codes, Indonesian-spec Dakar is only available with a 2.4 4N15 turbocharged four-cylinder diesel, which can be opted with 4x2/2WD or 4x4/4WD. GLX and Exceed gets the 2.5 4D56, also a turbocharged four-cylinder diesel - the former is 4x4/4WD only, while the latter is 4x2/2WD only. Chassis codes for the Indonesian market should as given by my rundown: GLX --> [KS3W] Exceed --> [KR3W] Dakar and Dakar Ultimate --> [KR1W/KS1W] |
