I can show you a Bentley wheel that looks just like those, both sides. Until we get a sensible picture showing enough detail to identify it, somebody else can do it. I shan’t bother with it. From the picture here, it could be two makes, eight chassis, and at least two coachbuilders. There is an outside chance that it’s a Daimler, as well, and I have no intention of wasting valuable time watching some el cheapo made for tv garbage when there is paint drying somewhere. -- Last edit: 2022-01-21 10:43:06 |

For the record, I think it might be a James Young body on a Silver Wraith LWB chassis, but not convinced at all. |

Or 1955-1956 Touring Saloon by Park Ward? |

Also a possibility, but unless you are aware of which car it is from personal knowledge you cannot decide. Similar bodies were fitted on Bentley VI and R-type, but very few. The front wing shape is not apparent from the picture, which is very saturated, but, if the curve runs through to the back wing it may be PW design 550. The problem I had with that is trying to match the number plate surround. |
