The vehicle has a GMC 960 badge on the fender. It doesn't appear to be a US Commercial GMC 960, but perhaps Canada had different models of 960. I have seen several photos of very similar looking 960 models located in Canada.

The truck body is modeled off of the SU-76 created by Steelweld Equipment Co. Only a few truck bodies of this style were ever produced, so the ones used in the movie were replicas. Inspired by a 1960 C10 Chevy Bellsouth Prototype service truck.

• Appears in the film's opening scene as Egon Spengler's vehicle
• Fitted with a 305 ci V8 engine paired with an automatic transmission
• Accompanied by a Certificate of Authenticity signed by Bob Hartwig
• Acquired directly from Cinema Vehicles, Los Angeles

This 1963 GMC C20 was used on screen during the filming of Ghostbusters: Afterlife (2021). Specially prepared for the production, it was modified to represent the Shandor Mining Co. truck driven by Egon Spengler in the film's dramatic opening sequence, in which he flees through the countryside pursued by a ghost.
Following production, the vehicle was released by Cinema Vehicles, the renowned Los Angeles-based supplier responsible for much of the film's transport and prop vehicles. It was subsequently acquired by Movie Cars Central and brought to France, where it has been displayed since.
Powered by a 305 cubic inch V8 engine coupled to an automatic transmission, the truck remains in its filming configuration, showing only light production wear and a genuine screen-used patina.
Sold on a bill of sale and accompanied by its Certificate of Authenticity signed by Bob Hartwig, President of Movie Machines LLC, this is a genuine piece of cinematic history from one of the most iconic film franchises of all time.
