Early NZ assembly was both Austin and Morris built from 1960 by different firms, so toss a coin for this one as bonnet badge and grille are too blurry for me to decide. Things got strange from 1965 (so not relevant for a 1964 film) when they started importing Aus-builds (Morris Cooper S) and then in 1966 assembling Aus kits with 998cc, calling it the Austin Mini Minor, with a picture showing Austin bonnet badge, Morris-style grille, and quarterlights in door. |
