As always it's difficult when it comes to old Mercs... The easy part is that it doesn't have a chrome side strip. That makes it likely a W 111 rather than a W 112. W108 got a black inside rear view mirror when it was introduced, but it might have taken some time before it was introduced on the rest of the models. They got also another outside door mirror with a stright arm, instead of the earlier curved one, nicknamed "swanneck". I'd say it's likely a 220 SE, but it might also be an early 250 SE, both W 111. Do you have a picture of the exhaust? 220 SE had one pipe while 250 SE had a twin pipe system. |
