I've lightened one of the thumbnails a bit, and I'm still not convinced; it looks more like a Simca Vedette derivative to me, one of the large-finned ones (Chambord?). The mascot on the bonnet/hood doesn't fit either a Consul (too long: the Consul had quite a short V-shaped one) or the Simca, which didn't have one at all, so it might be after-market.

I also believe it is a Simca Vedette - perhaps a Beaulieu model (note the chrome slat running only halfway on its side). The mascot on the bonnet looks like an after-market item indeed; it may have been quite popular, however, since something of the like appears now and then on Vedettes of the period:

Main pic and first of the last three thumbnails: No overriders: Ariane, not Vedette. Other pictures look like Vedette Beaulieu indeed. So here are two different cars...
