Yes, a Singer Junior, according to DVLA first registered 1929 ... on New Year's Eve ;)
Cylinder capacity is given with 0 cc ... that's what you call a cyclecar ... :D

Good old DVLA, always good for a laugh ... capacity was 848 cc, so you didn't have to pedal ...

The Singer Jumior was a very successful model. In 1929 the Singer company made 8,000 cars, most of them Juniors and was third in the British 'sales league' behind Morris and Austin. The engine had an overhead camshaft and it performed quite well. The side mounted spare wheel was a very tight fit on such a small car! Price was £150 to £160- a bit more expensive than an Austin 7 or Morris Minor but also larger and a 'genuine' 4- seater. However when the small Ford 8, Model Y, appeared in 1932 Singer could not compete with its £120 price and soon moved 'upmarket' somewhat- but then sales fell off and the company fell out of the 'First Division'' of volume car prioducers in the UK.

I have the almost identical car in my garage. It's a Singer Senior Saloon, the bigger brother of the Junior and evolution of the earlier 10/26. It has an OHV 1500cc 12 HP engine and 3 speed crash box.
