![]() Can’t tell if the subject picture is a Tudor, or a Fordor. (Fordor has /A in model designation according to Wiki.) This is the first Id I have challenged as an admin. If anybody wishes to challenge my challenge, pleas carry on, but I may have to call on the family leopard for assistance. -- Last edit: 2022-06-29 17:30:08 |

The one time you decided against it... This is a British series, so the earliest this could be is 1932 if it was based on a UK Ford. Perhaps someone can recognize this specific toy? EDIT: veed grille makes this a 34. -- Last edit: 2022-06-29 17:30:01 |

This appears to be rhd, I am quite happy to go for V8 [40] if it fits the rhd car. Wasn’t the 1932 the Model 18? The Model 40 took styling cues from the Y, so a ‘32 Model 40 seems a bit quick. -- Last edit: 2022-06-29 17:44:27 |

The Elgin Hippos? |

But is it the 201 cu inch straight 4, or the 221 cu inch V8? |

Please bear in mind this is an animated series. That said, the grille does appear to have a V-shaped profile, with straight bars. Even a (too large, isn't it) V8 badge at the top, but no radiatior cap? Body style could even be a van, by the look of the rear side wall. @john, as you have a passion for vessels, I think she (PS Lady Elgin) is residing in the deep waters of Lake Michigan... |

I was thinking more of the Elgin Marbles than the PS Lady Elgin. https://www.britannica.com/topic/Elgin-Marbles -- Last edit: 2022-06-30 14:45:02 |
