Ne serait-il pas plus judicieux, pour les bus de Londres en particulier, de les désigner par leur appellation "interne" (RT, RM ST,...), plus significative je pense? Car je trouve dommage de les mettre simplement sous leur (vrai, certes!) nom de constructeur, ce qui les assimile (à 10 000 c' est mieux!)à bcp d' autres types de bus anglais plus courants. Là, un AEC ST (caisse Tilling) me semble plus approprié. Qu'en pense Monsieur Ant? Je suis prêt à soutenir Anvers et contre tous mon point de vue (et images). Pt-être Siscyl me rejoindrait-il ? C'est dailleurs le même débat qu' avec des cars carrossés: Van Hool ou Man ? Volvo ou Irizar? Pour Setra,j' ose croire que tt le monde pense qd même à Kassböhrer... AEC manufactured the majority of chassis for London's buses from the 1910s right through to the 1960s. However, many other companies also supplied London, either directly or indirectly. For UK bus enthusiasts, it is necessary, wherever possible, to supply the make and model of the chassis, and then the coachwork details. So: AEC ST Coachwork by Tilling, or AEC Regent III RT Coachwork by Park Royal, would be the type of description used. |
