see... no H1 in the 1992 brochure Link to "oldcarbrochures.org" or 1993 ( despite the name file there is none in the brochure ) Link to "oldcarbrochures.org" or 1994 Link to "oldcarbrochures.org" says here that GM bought the name rights in december 1999 and then renamed it H1 , not before... however, brochure only calls it H1 from 2002 2001 brochure still just calls it Hummer -- Last edit: 2021-08-01 02:07:31 |

back then there was only this one in the showroom so they didn't really needed to give it a name or some people at GM were just lazy.. the Sierra got its name in 1988 and its Chevy counterpart had to wait until 1999 to have one... ![]() When the H2 came out , this one got known as H1 as it was there before it's a little bit similar ( at least to me ) to the people who still calls the Ford E-Series Econoline ( me included.. ![]() -- Last edit: 2021-08-02 05:15:30 |
