 In several scenes, Annie Potts as Karla Jackson drives magnificent white 1984 BMW 745i E23 with black or dark blue leather. Later, she sits in passenger seat while Jeff Bridges as Duane Jackson sits behind her in conversation. Later still, she drives while Eileen Brennan as Genevieve, Timothy Bottoms as Sonny Crawford, & Cloris Leachman as Ruth Popper are passengers. 4 or 5 stars

In several scenes, the camera lingers on the BMW & Mercedes sitting side by side outside the Dairy Queen & at community events (rodeo & centennial pageant).
