That's nothing - I heard a Metal Gear game had to be renamed shortly after 9/11 due to the katakana being too similar to Osama Bin Laden in Japanese. EDIT: Metal Gear Solid 2, Raiden - ライデン - was supposedly too similar to ラーディン ("Laden") so they wrote his name in kanji. -- Last edit: 2021-04-25 11:52:28 |
