Should be four stars, since it's used by the main characters for most of the first season. It got blown up near the end of the season, and was replaced with a black Dodge Ram.

These 4-door Wranglers are the only Wranglers available in 2wd currently.

what an oxymoron "Jeep 2wd"

That's true, Tonka Tracker. Perhaps the 4-door is less capable off-road than than the 2-door. So Jeep might think die hard off-roaders are more likely to buy the 2-door. So maybe Jeep will catch someone who wouldn't normally buy a Wrangler, by offering a 2wd 4-door. Jeep offered 2wd CJs, correct?

Jeep has offered 2wd models since the late 1940's. The early All Steel Wagon, Jeepster, and the familiar CJ styles (DJs) were available. Same held true for late model Cherokees & Wagoneers. Of course this thread was about the 4 dr Wrangler.

I know that Jeeps are made in 2wd I just don't like it :). And those 4-door wranglers are very capable off road, I take my Suzuki's and Isuzu's to Uwharrie National forest to go four wheeling twice a year and we had a guy bring one of those fresh off of the showroom floor and it surprised me by how capable it was (although the guys wife was extremely upset because the Jeep did suffer some body damage from the rocks and brush)

My Liberty is 2wd but i like to pretend it is 4wd  (that's what winches are for ;) )

Thanks for the inside knowledge on the 4-door Wranglers off-road prowess. I wonder how many nights that guy had to spend on the couch for causing the body damage. :D

I’ve been to Uwharrie too, the scenery there is beautiful (well, sometimes) and they have some neat off road trails.
Wouldn’t recommend taking a 4x4 without some sort of traction assist, whether it be mechanical or electronic.

I’ve also been to the ill fated Yellow banks, near St. James. Sometimes its hard to find land to 4-wheel on unless
you have your own.
