I feel in Japan they would try to use hiragana for better understandability and not start with a kanji. Plus, that's probably the beginning of 上海 - Shanghai. So it looks like they parked a few JDM vehicles to fake a short scene in Japan.

I would have said so too, but that entrance sign above the Isuzu starts with 上. I feel in Japan they would try to use hiragana for better understandability and not start with a kanji. Plus, that's probably the beginning of 上海 - Shanghai. So it looks like they parked a few JDM vehicles to fake a short scene in Japan.
