poor thing.. its over 100 years old and still has to work... unless its because it got bored with retirement.. ![]() 3rd pic in JB's link : is Camille Jénatzy the builder or just responsible of the electrical system ? ok.. just realized that the image looks pretty old for a 2012 movie , it probably wasn't 100 years old when this was caught on camera... ![]() -- Last edit: 2021-01-18 22:24:10 |

Jenatzy was an automotive pioneer, possible that he built it: https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Camille_Jenatzy |

This has a photo attributing the van to Jenatzy, but doesn't provide any details in the text: https://www.gracesguide.co.uk/Camille_Jenatzy https://www.gracesguide.co.uk/images/4/41/Im1899AC-Jena.jpg This article credits Jenatzy with building an electric beer truck in 1905: Link to "www.researchgate.net" -- Last edit: 2021-01-18 22:36:29 |

I think it may be called as saying here: https://www.gracesguide.co.uk/File:Im1899AC-Jena.jpg Apparently Jenatzy did not build the same model twice. For that of the Louvre, it was built only one copy for intra-mural deliveries from Paris. The rest of the vehicle fleet was Renault trucks visible here: Link to "paris1900.lartnouveau.com" |
