Mark VI Standard Steel Saloon. In production from 1946 to 1952.

A perfect example to illustrate exactly why you never should paint one of these white, and the radio aerial has gone missing. At least it hasn’t got whitewall tyres. Anachronistic Desmo Boomerang mirrors and black wing tapes, euch!

On the positive side, it has been very well executed, with the possible exception of the sun roof.

I have tried to trace this car back to its original chassis number, but without success. Although it should be easy enough, theoretically, Bentley Motors built 5208 MkVI chassis, of which 4190 were Standard Steel Saloons. Not knowing the original colour, or registration number doesn’t help either. Sorry!
