This has the orange indicators of the Belgian assembled version, on the Export (which was 1967 only) they were white. Small trafficator of the AZM3/AZAM 6, discontinued in 1966. The AZAM 6 (called 3CV in Germany, like the Argentinian derivate) was released here in September (67 MY) so this would have to be a 66 '2CV Luxe' in Germany. It s almost impossible to say, if it is an AZAM6 ("3CV Luxe" in Germany) or just an AZM3 ("2CV Luxe" in Germany), cause both car look the same. THe only differences are the frame and the engine/gear-box - and of course the logo on the boot. By the way the AZAM6 was introduced in early 1965 for Benelux and Switzerland and in automn 1966 for Germany. When the import to Germany of the AZAM6 started, the German 2CV also received the long exhaust system, so even that gives no hint about the engine. What you can say for sure is that the car on the photos was produced between autumn 1965 (if it`s a "2CV Luxe") and April 1967 (new dashboard with big speedometer and black steering wheel for either "2CV Luxe" and "3CV Luxe"). |
