It's a newly (2018) introduced sporty brand of Seat, after having been its motorsport subsidiary since early 2000s (previously it was Seat Sport). It's somehow the same relationship that there is between Fiat and Abarth. Anyway, Cupra now sells also models of its own like the sporty crossover Formentor and the EV hatchback Born (a sibling of the VW ID.3), beside the sporty variants of Leon and Ateca. |
