Can anyone help determine the model year? This picture car replaced the former one: /vehicle_720351-Mercedes-Benz-380-SL-R107-1981.html -- we know from the production documents that the new one from the 1983-84 season is definitely a different picture car, yet the same model, of course. |

The 380SL was sold from 1981-85 in North America. I don't know of any visible changes to them during this time frame. The 1986 560SL that replaced them had several visual changes, so those are a little easier to pick out. |
