This is I guess this is a reference to the old Renault Master Ambulances seen in the older series of Casualty, They probably couldn't get a old Renault Master. The Bizarre livery is I guess a reference to the chequered livery and the stripped livery seen on the 1994 models in Series 9 and 11, /vehicle_1302193-Renault-Master-Ambulance-1994.html and the yellow and green stripped livery seen in Series 10 on 1996 models /vehicle_1347516-Renault-Master-Ambulance-1996.html .
