At first glance it looks like a Chevrolet but the hood louvres are not right. The hood is too short for an Oakland. Maybe a Maxwell?? |

The large straight and low placed hood louvres indeed look pre 1920 Maxwell .As from 1920 hood louvres were narrower .With those very open old design rear fenders curving rearwards high above the tires and what appears to be a straight windshield I suspect a 1917 Maxwell Model 25 roadster that has been retrofitted with the disc wheels introduced in 1922 ,since pre 1922 Maxwells had wood spoke or optional wire wheels. It was a short car on a 103 inces wheelbase , increased to 109 in 1918.Period Chevrolets also had large hood louvres but those were forward inclined |
