the slanted hood indicates 5000 S which was in production until the end of Büssing NAG /vehicle.php?id=21975&l=de Link to "www.weinert-bauteile.de" while 500 S seems to have flat hood Link to "www.kfzderwehrmacht.de" |

On the wiki page, it says '5000 S' was produced between 1945-1950. The movie is from 1942 or did I read something incorrectly? It looks very similar to this Typ 350/400 (photo itself is from 1940) http://www.autogallery.org.ru/m/buessnag.htm Here it explains that Typ 350/400 had some distinctive features which differed from the later Typ 500 (and the later 5000 S as well) Link to "www.kfzderwehrmacht.de" -- Last edit: 2020-05-16 00:48:34 |

Yes, it seems to be the lighter version, but still has in commen with 5000 S the modern style sloping horizontally hood with script. A 1942–1945: 4500 S-1 4,6 t would have, and fits in period, but still seems to heavy with separate bumper etc. Link to "www.kfzderwehrmacht.de" Think it features some new details commen with postwar Büssing XXXX S anyway so could be 3500/4000 S |
