yes, it was created and developed there. VW in Germany had only the impudence to use his silhouette for the AutoStadt-logo. ![]() The whole VW-caused hype around this car was an impudence. As the whole idea, to create violently a "cult car" by copying a legend of the past. This is very annoying. A "cult car" grews up by itself, not by pressure of a PR-team. ![]() Finally the New Beetle is nothing more than a Golf IV, but for a higher price and with a much more idiotic body-construction. No space for nothing. The technic is just boring all-day-Golf-stuff, nothing worth to mention. |
