This is a Levend. But probably a BMC . |

Could it be a Leyland-badged Turkish BMC, like they had, for example, the same trucks badged Desoto, Dodge or Fargo ? |

This is a Turkish BMC. The headlights and grille are different from UK-built Sherpas. The "Leyland" badge is in the same font and size as the "Levend" badge on /vehicle_346305-BMC-Levend-18.html I imagine that BMC (the Turkish company) lost the rights to the Leyland name and came up with Levend as a similar-sounding replacement. -- Last edit: 2021-12-30 15:12:50 |

Right, it's not a Sherpa. So it could be a Leyland badged truck built by BMC of Turkey, before this lost of rights ? |

^Currently working my way through a large thread on BMC and translating using Google, this is the case. Sold as Leyland 30 and later Levend 90 and Levend 1.8: http://wowturkey.com/t.php?p=/tr182/celikf_leyl30.jpg http://wowturkey.com/forum/viewtopic.php?t=3898&start=410 -- Last edit: 2021-12-30 16:38:04 |

Thank you very much From Leyland to Levend, that's the same story than Rover to Roewe, in China much later... |

For this model, I think we can said it's a Leyland 30, made in Turkey for the Turkish market by the Turkish BMC group (but not yet badged as such as we can't find any with them on these links). After this lost of rights they became Levend 30, still without BMC badging. These one seems only to be applied quite recently (at the end or the middle of the 1990s ?), and maybe not evenly for all their products at the same time. But that's not easy to find a serious documentation and the exact timeline for that... |
