Another RM, fitted with anachronistic Desmo Boomerang wing mirror, on the near side at least. I think the Notek Blue Spot lights are more timely, however. The dark blue Riley diamond indicates 1 1/2 litre engine, and the 1950 date suggests that it is an RMA. -- Last edit: 2020-05-03 17:12:30 |

Spotted the lamps, over-rode the over-riders. We went there yesterday, monthly routine, three trips to Aldi for basics, one trip to Sainsbury’s for the quality. Nearest Waitrose is too far. |

Its early life was in the South of England, Portsmouth (1957), Southampton in 1964 and then sold to someone else in Portsmouth 1965-1971. During the early 1970s it was owned in Mayfair West London. We have MOT certificates dating back to 1988 and from 1988-2005 we know the Riley was on the North East show/rally circuit. The paperwork suggests the Riley has covered around 16000 miles since 1988.
