Movie bus, not an actual NYCTA/MaBSTOA bus. The real 5723 was a Flxible. Looks short, I'll go with TDH4519.

This bus is a 1966 GM TDH 5303. It was the first ever GM New Look to be fitted with a V8 engine. Was a Demonstrator for the San Francisco Municipal Railway, it was acquired by AC Transit in Oakland, CA. Fleet #625

Akn is indeed correct (only expectation is that #625 is an 1967 rather), and it's an rather special bus!
AC Transit wrote
AC Transit bus 625 was originally GMC test unit XMC-53, which used GMC’s first eight cylinder engine. It was produced for testing by San Francisco’s MUNI. After MUNI finished testing, AC Transit took the bus for additional testing in March 1967. In June 1967, AC Transit purchased the bus and renumbered it 625.

MABSTOA #5723. Now we all know this particular bus order from 1965 was series #5201-5525, with the last handful of buses having busoramas. But I did a little digging and found another picture of this bus and noticed two distinctive features framing the destination sign: one express lamp and one square lamp that was only distinctive to one system, AC Transit.

You are looking at the 1967 GM TDH 5303 XMC-53 original to AC Transit as #625, the very first V8 powered GM New Look Fishbowl, preserved and doing movie work on the east coast.

This is the one and only TDH 5303 from GM with a V-8. It had a lot of odd options including hoodlums, low air wig wag, Jersey partition, full drivers gauges, split destination sign. There were many modifications to the engine cradle and rear bumper to make it work. The next gen, the 5305's had all those issues worked out. This bus would later become ACT 625 and then go to a private collector. Last I heard it was a tasting room in Boston area.
